These are the books currently in the Book Indexing Project.  Please feel free to suggest books which you think should be indexed and therefore should be added to this list - the books MUST relate to the Geelong District.  Preference should be given to books which have NO index.  Instructions and more details are on our Project page.

To access these books:

• Use your local library and/or inter-library loan to view the books & the entries from the index

• Links have been provided for some Societies' Publications web site where you can purchase copies of the relevant books

• Submit a paid Research Request to a relevant society in the region

NEWS : You can search the index on-line.

NOTE : It is important to check WHICH EDITION has been indexed.  With some of the older publications, there may have been several editions with different page numbers - check that you have the same edition as that which has been indexed and if you index a different edition to one below, please let us know!

Status of Books

• Indexed by xxx = Index has been completed and is included in the Consolidated Books Index.

• In progress xxx = Book is currently being indexed and not yet in the Consolidated Books Index.

• Adopt Me = Book has been recommended for indexing and is waiting for someone to volunteer to index it.  Email me if you are volunteering.  NOTE : if you don't have access to a book for indexing, you should be able to get it from your local library - use inter-library loan if they don't have a copy.
