Queenscliff / Holy Trinity Parish Centenary : 1899 - 1999
On November 1st 1899, Queenscliff became a parish with Fr. T J Quinn of St. Kilda East
appointed as Parish Priest. In 1980 the Holy Trinity Parish was extended to include
Our Lady Star of the Sea in Ocean Grove and Holy Family in Barwon Heads.
The Parish Centenary was being celebrated in October 1999 :-
 | Friday 29th October, 8.00 p.m. : Dinner Dance at the Italian Social Club, Leopold. |
 | Sunday 31st October, 3.00 p.m. : Centenary Mass celebrated by Archbishop Pell at the
Monahan Centre, Queenscliff. Following Mass, there will be light refreshments,
Centenary Book Launch, Photographic Exhibition, and memorabilia sales in the Hall in the
church / school grounds. |
 | Sunday 31st October, 6.00 p.m. : Family Picnic and Bush Dance within St. Aloysius school
environs, Queenscliff. |
