| HOW TO SUBSCRIBE and UNSUBSCRIBE |
It's easy -- just click on
the list you want below. When the "mail-to" window pops up, type just
the single word subscribe in the SUBJECT FIELD and the BODY of the message. That's all - no other words! If you want to unsubscribe from a list, click on the relevant link below and type just the single word unsubscribe in the SUBJECT FIELD and the BODY of the message. That's all - no other words!
Important Note 1: You will NOT be automatically subscribed to the list - all subscriptions are checked by the List Admin and only activated when it has been confirmed that you are representing a member organisation of GDHA. Once it has been activated, you will receive a "Welcome" email. Important Note 2: Please make sure that you are sending in PLAIN TEXT otherwise your subscription to the Mailing List will not work. Important Note 3: You cannot subscribe to both modes with the SAME email address - you must have a different email address for each mode. Clicking on either of the above options should bring up your email box for you to send a message - if your system doesn't work that way, then open your email system and send an email to the relevant address above with the word subscribe / unsubscribe as required in the SUBJECT FIELD and the BODY of the message. If all else fails, ask for help! |

| HOW TO CHANGE YOUR SUBSCRIBED EMAIL ADDRESS |
The Rootsweb computer system
treats your old and new email addresses as two different "people".
Until new functions become available at Rootsweb some time in the
future, to change your email address you need to subscribe your new
email address and unsubscribe your old email address.
(Instructions above). If you no longer have access to your old email address then send a message to the List Admin with details of your old address and the name of the list with a request to remove this email address and the reason. |
