GHC Access System
The GHC Access System contains a series of Indexes and Catalogues in Acrobat (.pdf) files that are fully text searchable. Visitors to the Heritage Centre can access this system on the public computers in the Reading Room.
Date ranges for these indexes, particularly the Rate Books, are not provided below as these will change as they are updated - volunteers are continuously indexing key records in the Centre's collection.
If you are unable to search the indexes by visiting the Geelong Heritage Centre, then you will need to submit a Research Request to the Centre, local family or history society, or a private researcher. These indexes are not available on-line or for look-ups via phone or email, however there are some catalogues on the Heritage Centre's web site.
