bullet  Noted events in her life were:

• Immigration: as an assisted immigrant on the ship "Crusader", 15 Jan 1840, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Departed Dublin / Kingston, Ireland, 20 September 1839

• Biography. Page 28, The schooner Isabella carrying 20 passengers and crew left Sydney for Grafton on August 9th but failed to arrive. Page 78-79, After the Clarence was completed Phillips built another brig the "William Hill" upon the same stocks. The Messrs. Chowne commenced ship building in the district about the latter part of 1841 I think. Several vessels were turned out by them chiefly at Rocky Mouth, amongst others the "Beaver" subsequently lost upon the Solitaries and the ill-fated Isabella, which foundered at sea on her first voyage from Sydney, about September 1854, all hands perishing including Mr. W. Chowne himself. The Chowne's also built during the early forties for Mr. Thomas Small, at what was known as Small's wharf on the south side of the river a short distance below the approach to the Dobie Street ferry, a very fine brig, long and favourably known in the China and eastern trade, under the command of Captain Simpson, the Freak. I think the first place the Chowne's commenced ship building was on Woodford Island. Page 79, The Isabella was a schooner of 200 tons and left Sydney on August 8, 1854. It blew very hard from the South and on August 17, it was reported that the stern of a vessel newly painted has been seen drifting 90 miles north of Sydney. Arthur Tindal a young brother of C. G. Tindal was one of the victims.

• Death, 1854, At Sea. On board schooner Isabella
