On the 26th June, Alfred STEVENS (late of S.A.R., Mile-End, and Peterborough_), beloved husband of Annie STEVENS, 14, Huntriss street, Torrensville, aged 62 years, leaving two sons, four daughters and seven grandchildren. Requiescat in pace.

• Obituary, 1 Jul 1930, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. 6 Mr Alfred STEVENS, who died on Thursday last, at the age of 52, had been in the employ of the loco. section of the South Australian railways for 42 years, having been foreman at Peterborough, Mile-End, and Glenelg.

He had enjoyed good health until a few months ago, when he had to seek hospital treatment. Mr STEVENS leaves a widow, a daughter of Mr J McINERNEY, of Torrensville, two sons, Alfred and John Patrick STEVENS, and four daughters, Mrs Ernest CONWAY, Misses Caroline, Josephine, and Nancy STEVENS.
