Immig : Prob About 1900 - Orient Line? Signature on Naturalisation papers and marriage Certificate and wife's death certificate all appear to be the same. This means that Salvatore had returned to Sydney after leaving in November 1908 - had another child in 1911, was present at wife's death, returned to Italy and returned to Australia in 1921.

Therefore he must have left Oz AFTER her death. Were children taken by Laura's parents? Who brought them up and where? When did Salvatore return to Sydney? Check Sands & Mcs for NSW both BEFORE and AFTER trip to Italy. DATE OF BIRTH - Immigration record shows 12th January 1874 and Naturalization record shows 11th January 1874 Address on immigration given as c/- Ryrie St, Geelong. Address is now Belchers Corner 1926 (north-west corner of Moorabool and Ryrie Streets) - check what was there in 1921.
